MD-1052 Time Servers provide synchrony signals in several protocols and physical medium, for equipments that use time information as an integral part of their systems. Time synchrony is obtained by GPS satellites network, with precision of up to 100 ns.
MD-1052 can be completely set by its front IHM (membrane keyboard and 20 x 2 LCD display), or by its RS- 232C communication port. It has a frontal USB port, two 10/100 Mhz Ethernet ports, up to six optical outputs, two electrical outputs with TTL voltage level, two coaxial outputs, one RS- 232C output, one opto-coupled port for input of external sync and two opto-coupled outputs (synchrony and alarm), all of which can be individually set.
MD-1052 Time Server supports NTP synchrony protocol (network time protocol), allowing for the time signal to be sent to several equipments by Ethernet network. As it has two independent network ports, MD-1052 is capable of providing synchrony signals in NTP standard for two distinct and independent networks, complying with the standard established by IEC-61850.
MD 1052, due to its great flexibility of setting outputs and protocols, becomes an extremely versatile equipment, and it can be used in several applications, integrating different equipment in the same time basis.
