ISMs are switchgears which may be operated locally or remotely, closing the electrical circuits associated to them. They have three magnetic actuators, one per phase.
The commuter elements are assembled in axial and symmetric form, so the mechanic movements are linear and direct. The three actuators are assembled in a steel board and mechanically connected by a synchronous axle.
The insulation medium is vacuum, the most modern and efficient one in the market. The new Travida technology provides a long life, without need of switches maintenance.
