Ecil Informática, in association with Bandeirante Energia, has developed a line of smart electronic energy meters, which follow the concept of Smart Grid. The meters line comprises 2 and 3 wire one-phase models, two-phase and three-phase class B (1%) and THS class C (0.5 %). These equipments have functions against fraud, neutral current measurement, remote turning on/off and wireless communication.

They use the “Smart Energy” concept combined with the Zigbee technology for wireless communication, supporting MESH network topology, which provides a great flexibility when forming networks. Such features make this line of products ideal to use on AMR and AMI.

One-phase MD – 1200

MD-1200 is a one-phase energy meter, for residential use. The main feature is the possibility to monitor the neutral current and have quadrant measurement.

It was designed to have a long life time, manufactured by Ecil Informática with high durability components. The basis is made of polycarbonate with protection against flame and UV rays.

One-phase MD – 1400

MD-1400 is a one-phase energy meter, for residential use in AMR and AMI applications. The main feature is the wireless communication by Zigbee, and remote on/off.

Manufactured by Ecil Informática, it uses the same polycarbonate bases as MD-1200. It has a relay and internal RF antenna, so there is no need of external accessories attached.

Three-phase MD – 3400

MD-3400 is a three-phase energy meter for residential and commercial use. The main features are wireless communication, remote on/off, active/reactive energy measurement and demand, besides monitoring of neutral current.

THS – Class 0,5 MD – 4200

Gateway RT – 5020

RT-5020 is an equipment working as Acquisition Remote with the additional function of gateway Zigbee /GPRS, enabling this equipment to coordinate a network with many Zigbee points, concentrating the highest amount of information possible in one single GPRS point.
