MOM-232+ is a RS- 232C converter to Optical Fiber, being the ideal solution for long distance connections and with optical decoupling between equipments.

This equipment is self-supplied by pins for serial port flow control or in the absence of those, by external source. It has ST standard optical connectors to be used with 820nm fiber.

 

CHARACTERISTICS:

• Transmission rate of up to 115,2 Kbps;

• Full-duplex;

• Option of setting between DTE and DCE;

• Connections with up to 1 Km distance;

• Galvanic insulation of 3,500 Vrms (optical port);

• Self-supplied by RS- 233C or by external source of 5 VDC;

• Immunity to EMI/RFI interferences;
