CM-1100 Fast Ethernet Media Converter was created to transform a standard electrical signal 10/100BASE-TX into a standard optical signal, 100BASE-FX.

This device is used to extend the connection distance between two Fast Ethernet devices with electrical interfaces (twisted pair), by optical fiber cable, in a transparent way, without degradation of performance. Additionally, this type of connection enables insulation between equipments, ensuring high reliability in transmission systems.

CHARACTERISTICS:

• Supports transmission rates in 10 Mbps and 100 Mbps at    TP port;

• Optical transmission of multimode type;

• MDI/MDI-X auto-negotiation function at TP port;

• Auto-negotiation function at TP port;

• Link fault pass through function;

• Manual setting for TP port be able to support connection
   with equipments which have no auto negotiation    function;
